Climbing toward your best self, step by step.

Crest. Psychology

At Crest Psychology, we understand that life has its ups and downs, much like climbing a mountain. There are times when the path ahead feels steep, rocky, or uncertain, and other times when the climb is steady, offering moments of perspective and clarity. Just as every mountain requires preparation, endurance, and guidance, navigating life’s challenges often benefits from support, strategies, and a clear plan.

We provide evidence-based psychological services designed to help you manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotional or life challenges. Our approach is practical and personalised, recognising that each person’s journey is unique. Together, we explore your values, strengths, and goals, identifying steps that allow you to move forward even when the terrain feels difficult.

Our mission is to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s peaks and valleys, helping you build resilience, develop coping strategies, and celebrate progress along the way. Whether you’re seeking clarity during a difficult transition, support for mental health challenges, or guidance to achieve personal growth, Crest. Psychology offers a safe, supportive environment to help you reach your own personal summit.

I’m Nathan Simpson, and I run Crest. Psychology. I work with adults facing challenges such as , depression, anxiety, grief and loss, phobias, panic disorder, trauma, Bipolar disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and others. I’ve also worked with people in forensic settings, supporting rehabilitation and encouraging positive behavioural change.

My approach is empathetic, client-centred, and focused on helping you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but I also draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to create a tailored approach that actually works for you.
